Frequently asked questions
Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. You can book a hearing test or speech-language assessment directly. If we find anything that needs medical treatment, we refer you to an ENT doctor.
At what age can a child's hearing be tested?
At any age, including newborns. We use BERA for babies and play-based tests for toddlers.
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
If your child has no words by 16 months, no two-word phrases by 2 years, or is hard to understand at 3, an assessment is worthwhile. Early help is more effective than waiting.
Can I try a hearing aid before buying?
Yes. After your hearing test we shortlist suitable models and you can trial them at home before you decide.
Which hearing aid brands do you fit?
We fit all major international brands including Phonak, Oticon, Signia, ReSound, Widex and Starkey, so our advice is not tied to one manufacturer.
How long does speech therapy take?
It depends on the difficulty and how often you can practise at home. We set goals at the start and review progress with you every 3 months.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Speech therapy, parent coaching and hearing aid guidance are available by secure video call.
Is hearing aid cost reimbursable?
Some government schemes and insurance policies reimburse hearing aids. We provide the prescription, invoice and test reports you need to claim.
