The right hearing aid is the one you wear every day
We match the device to your hearing test, your day and your budget, fine-tune it at follow-up visits, and let you try it before you buy.
Hearing aid styles
Smaller is not always better. The best style depends on your degree of hearing loss, the shape of your ear canal and how easily you handle small devices.
Try before you buy
After your hearing test we shortlist suitable models and you try them in your own surroundings: at home, at work, in the market. You decide only when you are sure.
- RIC
Receiver-in-canal
Small case behind the ear with the speaker in the canal. Natural sound, rechargeable options, suits mild to severe loss.
- BTE
Behind-the-ear
Robust and powerful, with a custom earmould. The usual choice for children and for severe to profound loss.
- ITE
In-the-ear
Custom shell filling the outer ear. Easy to handle, with room for controls and a larger battery.
- ITC
In-the-canal
Smaller custom shell in the lower part of the ear. Discreet, for mild to moderate loss.
- CIC
Completely-in-canal / invisible
Sits deep in the canal and is almost invisible. Needs good dexterity; suits mild to moderate loss.
Technology levels
Every brand offers its hearing aids in several technology levels. Higher levels handle noise and changing environments better; they are worth it if your days are busy and varied.
Essential
Clear sound in quiet settings and one-to-one conversation. Suits a calm, home-based routine.
Standard
Better noise reduction and automatic programme switching for small groups and occasional outings.
Advanced
Directional microphones and stronger speech-in-noise processing for offices, family functions and travel.
Premium
The best performance in busy places and meetings, Bluetooth streaming, rechargeable batteries and app control.

Hearing aid questions
Can I try a hearing aid before buying?
Yes. After your hearing test we shortlist suitable models and you can trial them at home before you decide.
Which hearing aid brands do you fit?
We fit all major international brands including Phonak, Oticon, Signia, ReSound, Widex and Starkey, so our advice is not tied to one manufacturer.
Is hearing aid cost reimbursable?
Some government schemes and insurance policies reimburse hearing aids. We provide the prescription, invoice and test reports you need to claim.
How long do hearing aids last?
Most hearing aids last 4 to 6 years with regular servicing. Rechargeable batteries are usually replaced once during that time.
Will I get used to wearing them?
Most people adjust within a few weeks. Wearing them all day, every day, from the start helps your brain adapt faster. We fine-tune the settings at follow-up visits.
